NISMO Opens New Global Headquarters

Yokohama, February 26: The long-anticipated launch of NISMO’s new global motorsports headquarters was held amid much fanfare when the purpose-built facility was christened by Nissan/Renault alliance CEO Carlos Ghosn in front of a throng of domestic and international media.

The facility, located in the Tsurumi area of the city, houses all the workshops for NISMO’s motorsports programmes around the world including the GT500-class machines contesting Japan’s largest racing series SUPER GT and the FIA GT3-spec R35 GT-Rs campaigning a variety of championships both domestically and abroad. There is also an extensive section dedicated to Omori Factory, where road car users can have all manner of performance tuning conducted on their machines.
